General Questions
What is the best way
to make a reservation?
Spa services are available on a daily basis. We recommend
calling as far in advance as possible to ensure that appointment
times are available. We require a credit card number as
well as a phone number where you can be reached to confirm
your desired appointment time.
May I use my laptop
while I’m in the salon?
YES! Avalanche offers free Wi-Fi high speed internet access
so please feel free to bring your laptop with you. If you
are planning on listening/watching something on your laptop,
we ask that you please bring a pair of headphones as to
not disturb other guests visiting the salon.
What about my cell
phone?
Please turn your cell phone off, or place it on vibrate,
upon your arrival to Avalanche.
What should I wear
if I’m receiving a massage?
A massage is usually done while nude and only the area being
massaged is exposed. If you’re more comfortable keeping
your underwear on, it is entirely your preference.
What is Avalanche’s
Cancellation Policy?
The treatments you select are reserved especially for you.
A 48 hour cancellation notice is kindly required. Some bookings
require a 2 week cancellation notice. Please make sure that
you call us directly if you need to cancel for any reason.
Thank you for your consideration for other clients and staff.
Spa Etiquette Recommendations
- Arrive at least 20 minutes before your spa appointment
so you have time to check in, change into your robe and
slippers, and relax.
- If you schedule two treatments together, we suggest
that you receive a massage before your facial. A body
treatment should go before your massage.
- Don’t eat a heavy meal after your massage. Take
it easy and drink plenty of water.
- Gratuities are graciously accepted. For groups of 4
or more, a 20% gratuity will be included.
