How to Grow Your Hair Long & Healthy
Who hasn’t had the urge to chop off their long locks for a stylish short cut? However, it seems like we always instantly regret it. Maybe you got bored with your hair and decided you should give yourself bangs, but you didn’t end up with the look you were imagining. Whether it’s a crazy impulse decision that you now regret, or you just want long, silky hair again, these tips will help you grow out your hair healthy and fast!
Tip 1: Vitamins
It’s obvious that vitamins are good for you, so why wouldn’t you take them for your hair? If you’re a busy woman who doesn’t have the time for an enriched diet that’s loaded with the vitamins you need to grow your hair, get some hair vitamins. Some vitamins you want for hair growth are Vitamin A, B-Vitamins (also known as Biotin), Vitamin C, Vitamin D, and Vitamin E. They even have vitamins that are specifically for Hair, Skin, & Nails that contains Biotin and Vitamins A, C, and E.
Tip 2: Getting Trims
Another tip to growing out your hair is getting trims often. For years people would say that getting trims frequently will help your hair grow faster. While that’s technically a myth, getting trims frequently actually does make your hair stronger, which helps with hair growth. Look at it this way: if you avoid getting your hair cut, your ends will split and become weak, making the length of your hair almost look see through. It is recommended that you get a trim every 6-8 weeks if you want long, HEALTHY, strong hair.
Tip 3: Hair Masks
I’m sure you’ve all used a face mask before, but what about a hair mask? Using a hair mask is key to moisturizing and strengthening your hair, which in turn will help your hair grow quicker and healthier. We recommend using a hair mask once a week or every 3-4 shampoos to achieve your long hair goals. If you notice that your hair is starting to fall flat after using the mask, don’t worry! Just spread the masks out a bit more. You can either make a DIY hair mask at home or purchase a hair mask from a beauty store. However, we do recommend doing your research beforehand.
Tip 4: Healthy Diet
Eating healthy is a must for growing long healthy hair. What you put in your body reflects outside your body too, so a nutrient-rich diet will lead to super healthy hair! You want to eat foods with plenty of biotin, iron, protein, and vitamins. Specifically A, C, and E vitamin rich foods have scientifically shown to promote hair growth and strength. Foods like eggs, spinach, fish, and nuts should be staple foods for your hair growth journey!
