"I have been with this salon since their original location in Trappe, I’d say at least 6-7 years now - maybe longer. I think there is something to be said about the service and quality of service when you can return to a place of business every 6-8 weeks for over 5 years!! Steph and her team are talented, down to earth people. I have recommended them to several people and will continue to do so. Oh, and my kids LOVE Miss Stephanie and beg me to schedule their appointments!! Thank you ladies for always keeping this tired, working mama looking her best!!"

"So I had the absolute best experience ever with Miranda! She was awesome she looked at what I wanted and was able to make sure we could do something similar. She listened and just was hands down one of the best hairdressers I’ve had in a long time. My cut is fantastic and she gave my hair body without losing too much of the length. I went from blonde to vibrant red and it looks amazing. She also encouraged me to get the no fade shampoo so that I can keep my look longer! Will absolutely be coming back here and make sure my friends know about this as well. The salon was clean and had great vibes! Thanks again Miranda you rock!!!!!"

"I've been going to Dani at Avalanche for a couple years now for cuts & colors, and she is wonderful! Unfortunately, I don't get to go in as often as I'd like - maybe every 6 months or so (and by that time my ends are split to hell and my color is in desperate need of freshening). Every time I show up with a new style or color in mind, she gives me great advice on what will work for my face shape, hair type, etc. I've been to many salons where I just can't seem to get the exact color or style that I envisioned, but Dani's vision is always spot-on. On top of that, I recently had my hair done by Missy for my wedding reception, and it looked amazing! I showed her a Pinterest pin of what I had in mind and she hit it right on the nose. She also stopped every so often and asked if I liked how it was coming along, if there was anything I would change, etc. And I got a million compliments :) My hair is fine (and boring, IMO), but the ladies at Avalanche always bring it to life!"

"My hair was extremely damaged and I wasn’t happy with a past dye job. Dani spent 3+ hours not only correcting my color, but cutting to resolve some very botched layers. She also asked me numerous times throughout the process if I was happy with the progress, ensuring I would be satisfied with the end product. The end result was healthy and gorgeous hair. I can’t recommend this salon enough. Also, their in-house hair products are phenomenal!"
